PARTY FOOD ON A BUDGET

$88 PARTY FOOD PREP

.

Our party food prep didn't

take us too long to do! The cake took the longest,

because we made them from scratch. You can always

buy already made mud cakes and hack them yourself to save

time. But in our case time wasn't the issue it was budget!

It cost so much less to make them yourself.

.

.

If you haven't guessed already you are either

TEAM DINO or TEAM BUNNY!

Basically Ben's cake were cupcakes,

the erupting volcano was not edible but was definitely

a major highlight with all the kids!

.

.

We definitely had our fair share of healthy and unhealthy snacks

and treats at the twins party. Our veggie platter

was obviously one of the healthier options at the party

It costs us around $16 to set this patter up for

all the guests, there was 16 kids and 8 adults.

.

.

We love our muesli bar recipe. Home made of course,

it's cheaper! AND you can do what you like with them.. So

we added sprinkles and had some fun with them.

Girl and boy versions.

.

Jelly cups were a huge hit too! We added the extra left over fruit we

bought and popped them into the jelly. Blueberries for the blue jelly

and mandarins for the orange jelly.

.

SUPER EASY

SUPER CHEAP

SUPER FUN

.

.

.

Chocolate spiders are also so super cheap and easy to make,

if there are NO nut allergies go right ahead.

BUT you can make these nut free if you wish.

We added sprinkles for some extra fun and to make

them fit the theme.

.

Honey Joys. How can you not right!? They are so cheap to make

everyone loves them! And I highly doubt there will be any left spare!

Simply add cornflakes, butter and sugar and BAM!

.

.

I done a lot of DIY for the party, these included! I used

bamboo skewers and cut out carrots and hot glued

to the top. The kids thought they were the coolest!

BTW everything is so much more fun when

you pop it on a stick! Didn't you know that :P
