Grocery Haul $140 A Week For A Family Of Six!

ON A BUDGET

.
I've done it again and in BUDGET!
Actually we are UNDER budget! I set
$350 this fortnight and only spent $276
throughout the 3 stores I ventured to.
.

.
With Aldi being the first stop our main shop!
We spent $196 with spending an extra $2
more than we should of, because of course I
couldn't find my Aldi token for the trolley so I had
to buy a token! The lady also scanned the
noodles 3 times instead of 2 times
so that was an extra 99c.
.

.
Secondly we shopped at Woolworths
and only spending $36 a small shop,
but we didn't need too much from Woolworths
at this point. As I priced matched and compared
prior to my grocery shop and found these
items were cheaper to buy at Woolworths,
or on par with Aldi.
.
The cordial I could have got cheaper at Aldi for $2.29
for a 10L cordial, but we wanted to try and different
flavour so we opted for this one on sale for $3,
usually $4 for the 10L
.
.

.
Third and final place we shopped
was our local Green Grocer, which by far
is the cheapest for fruit and veggies.
We spent $46 here, with only a few extra bits that
was not on the list. An extra punnet of strawberries
at $2 for a 500g punnet, watermelon and
the extra carrot Miss Georgie decided she
needed to have a nibble on!
