CHOCOLATE GUMMY BEARS
100g 90% chocolate & 1 -2 tsp. chocolate extract
100g cream/ coconut cream
3 tbsp. gelatine
100g milk of choice
Step 1. Add chocolate and cream into a heatproof bowl, then microwave on high for 1 min. Stir until melted together and set aside.
Step 2. Boil water, then pour into a bowl and add gelatine. Whisk until well dissolved.
Step 3. Pour the gelatine mixture into the chocolate mixture using a sieve to eliminate any lumps. Mix.
Step 4. Quickly transfer the mixture into prepared moulds with a dropper.
Step 5. Place into freezer for 30 mins or until set. Once set, pop the chico bears into an airtight container and place into the fridge.
Step 6. Reheat the mixture for 1 minute in the microwave on high for any leftover mixture.
MAKES 175 cute as a button "chico" bears
Note: Have all ingredients out and ready. Prepare silicone moulds before starting by cleaning and drying them. You may want to wear kitchen gloves as you may get gelatine on your hands and it can get messy. Work fast as the mixture may start to set quickly.
